Aussie Colours Management
Mr Brian Ruddle
Brian is a Director of Aussie Colours and has extensive experience
in international consulting, project management and technology
commercialisation. Brian was the COO of a company commercialising
'enhanced tree growth' technologies, and has designed, implemented
and evaluated international projects covering sectors such as agriculture,
trade, and finance in more than 15 countries. He has also held
numerous international team leader positions reporting to Australian
and international governments and has conducted training courses
for the Australian government and ASEAN in strategic planning and
evaluation. Brian will become CEO of Aussie Colours upon the conclusion
of Stage 1 commercialisation activities.
Mr Cameron Turner
Cameron is the Manager of Innovation and Commercial Development
for Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science at UniQuest,
The University of Queensland’s main commercialisation company.
Cameron has over 15 years of experience in food and agribusiness
research, product development and international marketing with
a focus on assisting agribusiness organisations to address principal
strategic growth issues.
Professor Daryl Joyce
Professor Joyce is the Director of the Centre for Native Floriculture.
In this administrative position, he coordinates CNF activities
across the Floriculture and Capacity Building programs. He represents
the CNF to stakeholders within The University of Queensland and
external. In addition to administrative functions, Professor Joyce
advises higher degree students and undertakes research in collaboration
with colleagues in Australia and overseas. His research interests
include postharvest biology and technology, phytopathology and
aspects of plant physiology, including water relations. Most, but
not all, of his work is with native ornamental species.
